Harvest usually runs from the first to the last week of September, depending on the summer. Hosts post their picking days on their stay pages from August.
Guests are welcome to join a morning in the rows. It is hard, happy work, and it ends with a very long lunch.
Book early: the farmhouses with pools are usually full for September by the end of spring.
